I recently graduated from Drexel University cum laude with a Bachelor's of Science in Interior Design. I left Drexel with an affinity for learning, six months of co-op experience, a broad knowledge of the design world, and an ambition that can’t be tamed .  With each required studio class I heard myself saying, “This is what I want to do with my career.” By the time senior year arrived, I found that I had dedicated myself to four different design fields.  What I discovered is that it wasn’t the type of design I was doing, but the process of design itself that I loved.  Having this blank canvas of a project that I can transform into something that is not only beautiful, but useful and appropriate for the end user is something truly special that we as designers have the privilege of partaking in. Finding inspiration in the most unexpected of places and using it to inform design decisions and create a unified presence throughout the project is something that I can’t imagine being replicated in any other field. So while I don't know which area of interior design I will ultimately land in, I eagerly await the opportunity to try them all.
